Kylie Jenner asks unimpressed fans to donate to makeup artist’s medical bill

– The cosmetics queen shared the story asking fans to donate to his medical bills and also gave out R73k of her own

– With the bill being around R870k, some felt she could have just handled it all instead of “asking for money” because she has more than enough

Reality TV star Kylie Jenner has found herself on the end of bashing on social media after making a request that some felt was unwarranted.

The mother of one shared a picture of a makeup artist, Samuel Rauda – believed to be the one who does her makeup – who recently got involved in an accident and was hospitalised.

Kylie urged fans to visit the family’s Go Fund Me page and donate funds as the artist reportedly needed around R870k for surgery.

According to The Sun, Kylie donated around R73k to the drive and, in the post, wished Rauda protection from God as he fights for his life in hospital.

However, fans felt her move was disrespectful, being she is believed to be have been the richest earner in the world in 2020 and has a whopping R13 billion to her name.

Others even pointed out the kind of luxuries she rewards her daughter, wondering why she could not offer to pay and instead ‘beg’ for cash.

Here are some of the reactions online:

Kylie previously made headlines after she was slammed for her daughter Stormi’s birthday party. Kylie has always thrown over-the-top birthday parties for Stormi but the circumstances had to change due to Covid-19 regulations. She still threw a party though but kept the guest list much smaller.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star posted the details of Stormi’s party on her Instagram stories and fans couldn’t help but notice that the table she laid out was for a big group. A few attendees were not wearing face masks, further angering the public.

  1. According to a report by Glamour Magazine, it is not that Kylie threw a party during a pandemic that angered people. It was rather that her family is in South Carolina, which is the epicentre of Covid-19 in the United States.

Premier prosecuting me for not appointing traffic officers she wanted, claims official

Johannesburg – A top Mpumalanga government official has alleged she is being “prosecuted” by Premier Refilwe Maria Mtshweni-Tsipane after she refused to appoint wives of the politician’s protectors and relatives as new traffic officers in the province.

The head of department in the department of community safety, security and liaison, Busi Nkuna, sent a scathing letter to the premier last Friday after she was threatened with suspension for refusing to close down Mpumalanga traffic colleges and send all the 125 recruits home because they didn’t include the names from Mtshweni-Tsipane’s list.

Nkuna in her letter to the premier, seen by the Sunday Independent, reminded Mtshweni-Tsipane how she was summoned to the politician’s house in Midrand in January this year and given a tongue lashing because the names of over 120 people that the premier allegedly wanted recruited didn’t make to the final list because some of them didn’t even have matric certificates or were over the required age limit.

In her letter, Nkuna told the premier that she doesn’t have any problem if the premier wants to institute “disciplinary hearings” against her because “maybe that would be a proper platform where I would be heard, because I have a lot to say.”

She added in her letter, that: “According to me, the recruitment and selection process was above board.”

Nkuna challenged the premier to give evidence on “what was flawed about the recruitment and selection process” as well as “who of these recruits do not qualify to be appointed.”

She then asked the premier, in her letter: “Am I being prosecuted because the premier, through Mr N Molelekoa, gave me a list of names of candidates that the panel needed to recommend irrespective of the fact that they do not qualify?”

The premier’s spokesperson, Sibongile Mkani-Mpolweni, yesterday said the premier wasn’t prepared to comment on internal correspondence between an employer and employee.

“The office of the premier notes, with great disappointment, the dissemination of correspondence between employer and employee. The office of the premier will not comment on the contents of the correspondence out of respect to the principle of confidentiality that defines the employer-employee relationship between the executive authority and the accounting officer.”

Mkani-Mpolweni also refused to comment on the nature of the relationship between Molelekoa and the premier.

Yesterday, Nkuna confirmed that she did send the letter to the premier but vehemently denied that she leaked it to the media.

“I can confirm that I am the author of the letter, but I suspect that the leak came from the premier’s office in order to blame me because I have just been informed that I would be charged for disseminating that letter,” Nkuna said.

Nkuna added that she stands by the content of her letter that she was allegedly given names by Molelekoa of people close to the premier who were supposed to be recruited as new traffic officers in the province.

“I am the accounting officer in the department and I am convinced that we appointed the right candidates after the panel went through a legitimate recruitment and selection process.”

Nkuna refused to comment on allegations that the names that Molelekoa sent to her to be recruited were forwarded via WhatsApp.

“I have all the evidence and I will only forward it to the relevant authority or independent panel that would be appointed to investigate the matter.”

EFF leader in the province, Collen Sedibe, yesterday confirmed that they have opened a case of fraud and corruption against the premier at Nelspruit Police station after they got a tip about Mtshweni-Tshipane’s alleged list of the people she wanted to be recruited as new traffic officers.

“Information at our disposal suggests that amongst the people the premier wanted recruited included two wives of her protectors, four relatives of her protectors as well as relatives of someone working in the human resource section in her office,” Sedibe said.

Media personality Relebogile Mabotja announces pregnancy

Media personality, businesswoman and philanthropist Relebogile Mabotja has revealed that she is pregnant with her first child.

She revealed the news in a social media post that also carried the link of her tell-all interview with an online magazine, Batswadi.

In the interview, she said that the pregnancy was teaching her about patience and surrender.

“Because I’m an A-type personality who likes to be in control of everything and because I like to plan everything, for the first time in my life I’m forced to surrender.

“And that includes things like having to surrender to the fact that today I might have to get nine hours of sleep, surrender to the fact that I’m too tired to continue this task, surrender to the fact that I can’t stay up as long as I used to, or that I can’t wake up as early as I used to.

“In terms of the transition, most of it is psychological in the sense that you’re so used to your body being able to do certain things, but I’m learning to just listen to what my body and baby just want and need,” said Relebogile.

She also said that through this journey, she has come to realise that there are so many women who suffer from many complications like fibroids, miscarriages, difficulties with falling pregnant… and it’s not often we hear the painful side of pregnancy.

“We often hear the wonderful side and mine has been very difficult… Having a sense of community has been as important as having a partner’s support. It’s so important that we share information so we can continue learning from each other,” she said.
